A City of Refuge
For families near the Thai–Myanmar border, the nearest real hospital can be an hour and a half away, past checkpoints and the need for a pass. Wei Ler Moo changes that — a fifteen-minute ambulance or boat ride to a proper clinic, a school children can stay and learn in, a market that becomes a livelihood, clean water and power for the new city and the community already here. Every design is built on the real boundary and the real slope of the land.
